Εορταστική εκδήλωση για την εγγραφή της «Ψαλτικής τέχνης» στον Αντιπροσωπευτικό Κατάλογο Άυλης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς της Ανθρωπότητας της UNESCO (Πρόγραμμα και Ντοκιμαντέρ)
Κατά τη 14η Σύνοδο της Διακυβερνητικής Επιτροπής της Σύμβασης του 2003 της UNESCO για την προστασία της άυλης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς, που πραγματοποιή -θηκε στη Μπογκοτά της Κολομβίας στις 9-14 Δεκεμβρίου 2019, εγκρίθηκε παμψηφεί, στις 11 Δεκεμβρίου, για εγγραφή στον Αντιπροσωπευτικό κατάλογο στοιχείων άυλης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς της ανθρωπότηταςη υποψηφιότητα του στοιχείου «Ψαλτική τέχνη» («Βυζαντινή μουσική»). Την υποψηφι -ότητα υπέβαλαν από κοινούη Κυπριακή και η ΕλληνικήΔημοκρατία και τον φάκελο της υποψηφιότητας συνέταξαν οι εμπειρογνώμονες της Κυπριακής Εθνικής Επιτροπής UNESCO και της Διεύθυνσης Νεότερης Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού της Ελλάδας.Η αίτηση θεωρήθηκε υποδειγματική από το Σώμα Αξιολόγησης και αναρτήθηκε στην ιστοσελίδα της Σύμβασης
At its Fourteenth Session, which took place in Bogotá, Republic of Colombia on 9-14 December 2019, the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 Convention for the safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage unanimously approved the inscription of «Byzantine chant» («Byzantine music») on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on 11 December. The nomination was submitted jointly by the Republics of Cyprus and Greece and the nomination file was prepared by the experts of the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO and the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports. The Evaluation Body commended the quality of the nomination file and the file was posted on the website of the Convention as exemplary.
